  1. This is my set-up, I love these primes, previously owned and sold these before buying them again.
  2. I like the 10-24mm FOV, I mainly use it at 10mm but I have issues with IQ, especially when using the 23mm and 56mm, the quality isn't even close, how I wish for a fuji prime at 10mm or below.
  3. I'd suggest trying them both, that may not be possible but I was lucky to have that opportunity and much preferred the Zeiss, in fact I liked it so much I sold my 10-24mm Fuji to buy the 12mm Zeiss. I love these lenses but it's just my preference, yours may differ, both are great.
  4. I bought a Sandisk 64GB UHS-ll to try and rectify the problem but it still continued, so not just Lexar cards.
  5. Doing some more testing this evening, even formatted my cards with SDFormatter as posted by Puma Cat but still got an error pop up. I must confirm that I only get errors upon trying to view the pictures, I don't suffer any lockups or freezes during shooting. If I were more patient and waited a few seconds more before trying to view the pictures I'd just shot I think all would be ok but once the error shows it stays, only on slot 1, I then turn the camera off and on and all's ok. Tested in raw/fine and just fine and the same problem in slot 1 so it's not the larger raw data files causing the problem as originally thought.
  6. All X-T2's are on firmware 1.00, there has been no updates but I agree, I to think it's a glitch in the firmware.
  7. Just tried out the Sandisk 64GB 280 MB/s UHS-ll card, an error appeared straight away. So looks like it's firmware/hardware related
  8. I'm using 2 x 32GB x2000 Lexar cards in slot 1/2 so that's not the problem with mine. Pete
  9. Hi, this is normal, it's a battery power saving implementation so no need to worry, it's not a fault. Pete
  10. If it is a firmware problem I'm confident Fuji will sort it with an update, it's what they do best but I'm not so confident it's attributed to just Lexar cards, despite all I've read. It's the only issue I have with the X-T2 and I love it too, marvellous bit of kit. I had the X-T1 and sold it for the Nikon DF then D810 but always thought I'd return some day
  11. Ordered a Sandisk 64GB 280 MB/s Card which will be with me tomorrow so I'll update the thread.
  12. I held off purchasing the Sandisk cards today from Amazon as I wanted to do some more testing. Again I had no problems today until I tried to view a shot from slot one in raw straight after taking a picture. I make sure it's written to the card and press play only after the 'saving data' light has gone out, but intermittently it throws up an error. On another note the JPGs are so good I'm wondering why I use Raw ** Just read Thom Hogans problems with Lexar cards which now has me adding the Sandisk cards back into my basket at Amazon **
  13. From what Ive been reading on other forums it's not just Lexar but I do have the opportunity to return the Lexar cards and I'll try the SanDisk Extreme PRO 32 GB 280MB/s cards. Seeing as Raw writes to slot 1, where I'm having the problems, the increased data may be the problem.
  14. The errors/freezes were in AF-S single point mode, I think it happened once while testing out AF-C in Zone mode but I've just returned from an outing, shot in AF-C, CL, a few bursts and not one error reared its ugly head
  15. Hi all, new to the forums, Ive been posting for a few years over at DPreview. I'm experiencing freezing and card errors, it's intermittent and frustrating. Errors are always to slot 1, never slot 2 and errors include 'Cannot Initialize Card' I've swapped cards over from slot 1 to 2 and errors still occur in slot 1. Here's my setup details, would like to know others to see if I can eliminate the problem. 2 x Lexar 32GB UHS-ll x2000 cards Set up to save Raw to slot 1, JPG to slot 2 Non-Boost mode Hopefully it's a firmware fix and not hardware. Pete
