  1. Hello. I've placed an sd card of my X-T2 to the X-H1 and all of a sudden, when i took a picture with the X-H1, the camera went from DSCF1478 ----->DSCF3391 .Anyone knows how i can get the pictures count back to normal to DSCF1479?
  2. Hello Fuji users.I'm mainly a landscape shooter ,therefore i haven't tested the camera for quite a long time in the AF-C functions. The time i had though ,it worked perfectly ,it did 8fps (or 11fps with the grip on) .Yesterday i tried to shoot a basketball game and i've noticed that the speed was quite slow.At first ,i thought there was a user error ,but today i made many tests and i only managed to achieve from 5.5 to 5.7fps. The settings were: AF-C ,CH,Boost on (3 genuine batteries),11fps,Instant AF setting: AF-C, AF-C Release . Of course i played and changed a lot the above settings ,but the same results persisted. I thought it was the grip issue ,but i've noticed that the EVF's frame rate changes when i turn the boost mode on. This is a bit of annoying ,as it is the third issue i have with Fuji gear and all of them noticed them out of warranty. The other two were : 1) Many hot pixels in long exposures and high isos (from 20 to 200) 2) My 16-55 f2.8 creeps from 40mm to 55mm and at that focal lengths i can't literally shoot facing the camera down ,as either the lens extends or the lens elements sound loud. I can live with these problems ,but i really doubt about Fuji's quality controls and durability .
  3. thank you for your replies .Unfortunately ,i've sent an email to nissin two weeks ago to send my flash for a firmware update and they haven't replied yet.
  4. Hello , I have the Nissin i40 ,pretty happy with it and i don't want to buy the bigger yet more powerfull i60 .So my questions are: 1. Has anyone received the Nissin i40 updated with HSS ? 2. Is there a limitation depending the version? 3. Does it work with Nissin Air 1 Commander ? (i've searched on the internet and found all possilble answers)
  5. If you use 3rd party batteries then you'll notice that the battery indicator is incorrect .It happens to me all the time ,especially with DSTE (worst batteries ever) and all i have to do is to pull out the batteries and place them again.

  9. I've done this as well ,still didn't work .Which option to choose from Sequential-Backup-Raw?because i've tested all and still nothing . Your last solution bellow showed ' no card on slot 1' and couldn't shoot.
  10. I had several times the same card problem with the X-T2 : i use the Lexar 2000x 64gb on the first slot for RAW and 4K videos and a Lexar 1000x 64GB on the second one for jpegs .When the first card gets full ,the message 'memory card full' appears .I switch to the second slot ,which still has plenty of space, but the problem it's there. I change the 'save data setup', shoot only raw,i remove the full memory card ,i switch the empty to the 1st slot ,still i can't shot. The problem is being solved only if i carry a 3rd card and place it to the first slot. Is there any solution or a specific setup to avoid this situation?

  16. In some years from now, i hope there will be half a dozen new mark II lenses ,not only primes ,but zooms .Pretty sure it'll be a 'must' since the upcoming 'Ultimate X-Camera' will have a lot of trouble functioning wilth the old first generation glass especially in video with back focusing problems.Fast cameras will demand many fast lenses
  17. thank you for your replies ,i think i'll go for the 16mm .
  18. Hello X users, I'm planning to buy 2 or 3 lenses (out of 6 i carefully consider) until next year to have them when i'm on holidays .The fujinon lenses i own are 10-24,16-55,50-140,56 and 90 ,all for studio work except the wide zoom.My usual vacations set till now was 10-24/16-55 which lacks flexibilty during night shots .Weight doesn't matter ,i endlessly use the VPB XT2 with all of them . I currently consider 5 fujinon and 1 zeiss : -14mm f2.8 -16mm f.1.4 -23mm f1.4 -35mm f1.4 -32mm f1.8 zeiss touit -8-16mm f2.8 forthcoming ultra wide (stated on fujirumors) My first goal will be the 16mm since i've read reviews and seen many pics and the image quality is top notch ,eventhough i'm a bit skeptical about that focal length . The quality of 16-55 f2.8 ,50-140 f2.8 is on par and i know what to expect from the 16mm ,on the other hand there's a 14mm f2.8 which from what i see is optically correct and excellent without any distortion ,but won't catch the fast 16mm in terms of sharpness and bokeh . Second choice will be 35mm 1.4 or 32mm 1.8 zeiss .I know that this focal length will be the last to consider as a vacation kit ,but it's the most popular among x users and i can't ignore it.I know their strengths and weaknesses /pros/cons and i'm 50/50, not sure where to side even the price gap. There's also a 23mm f1.4,but still not convinced about it's advertised sharpness when i check pictures through the internet ,compared to all other candidates. Last but not least, If there's an announcement of the long rumored 8-16mm f2.8 ,i'll 100% go for it and the other lens will be 23 or 35 if i haven't already purchased the 16mm PS 1. If there was a plan for a 33mm 1.0, i would skip both 35 1.4 and 32 1.8 PS 2 . I didn't mention 23mm f2 and 35mm f2 since they're both closer to my 16-55 f2.8 f stop and both ugly . PS 3. People who own more than one of the above 6 lenses would be very helpful
  19. i tested it yesterday with 3 np-w126s and still the problem persists .3 fully charged batteries and the indicator shows the two on the grip in red color.
  20. That's true .Last time i noticed ,i've placed the original new battery on the camera ,the original battery of my x-t1 and a third party on the grip . For sure this happened a lot of times ,i can't recall if it didn't happen using only the 3 new batteries (np-w126s).
  21. The power indicator is inaccurate when i use the power boost grip.It shows that both batteries are fully discharged .I close the camera ,i take out the bar with the two batteries ,place it again and then it shows them fully charged.Really weird and can't understand why they didn't fix it with a firmware update.
  22. X-T2 is a huge step forward ,but it's still on the beginning and needs much more firmware improvements. For example , those who have been taking portraits only and used to the the super nice X-T1's skin tones ,they'll have to forget them for indoor and low light situations. X-T2's skin tones tend to be green/grey ,definetely worse than the previous generation. LCD and EVF preview isn't exaclty accurate and also i think auto white balance needs some improvements. If you're ok with the above ,everything else on the X-T2 is ok and easily called the camera of the year.
  23. I've been using the new Iridient Converter for Windows(beta 1) and i'm quite impressed with the results, eventhough it's a beta version that needs improvements. The converter ,as you already know, makes the raf files to dng.Until now, i usually choose low or disable sharpening on the converter to avoid artifacts and sometimes on Lightroom as well (or sharpening between 5 - 15) and the images look better than editing RAFs .The beta version seams to crop a bit the pictures ,but it's good alternate for editing raw files.Any other impressions or suggestions?
