dincz got a reaction from Ozzmanknot in Fujifilm XT4 1.03 Update---- Firmaware not found
The file name contains "-3" which indicates you have 3 copies. Go to your download folder and delete the duplicates. You should have only FWUP0024.DAT

dincz reacted to johant in Brassing X100V
Umm no ... I don't long for a worn down camera, and if it ends up that way anyway, I'd like it to be through my own use.
And I couldn't care less that my X-Pro1 shows white underneath the black paint instead of brass. If it annoys me, I can always cover it up with gaffer tape.

dincz reacted to David Richards in x pro1 sd card
what is the fastest card I can use in a x pro1. Will sdxc class 10 u3 170 mb/s work. I find the buffer fills very quickly and takes ages to write onto sandisk extreme pro class 10 u3 95 mb/s, especially as I shoot raw and fine jpegs, or am I just expecting too much from my camera

dincz reacted to c0ldc0ne in XF 23mm f2 balance on X-M1
Never understood the notion of or people's preoccupation with lenses "balancing" on a camera body.
As soon as you put a lens on a camera, it becomes front-heavy. As such, the combination of the two has no inherent balance.
The only way to balance a camera is to hold it properly, i.e. support it at the fulcrum point by cradling the lens in your left hand.

dincz got a reaction from lysander in 16mm + X-T2 weird jpg
It looks like one of the advanced filter effects is turned on.
Have a look here: http://fujifilm-dsc.com/en/manual/x-t2_v21/taking_photo/filter/index.html

dincz reacted to LocalGhost in Don't want bracketing
It comes from film photography times - back then it was a setting affecting the motorized film drive / transport mode (single frames, continuous etc). I think it still is a fairly accurate and descriptive term in today's digital cameras, although I totally see how it can be confusing for non-native English speakers (being one myself[emoji12] )

dincz got a reaction from Curiojo in X100F not as sharp as X100T
This is a limitation of the leaf shutter design and it's been this way all through the X100 series cameras. Your memory of the X100T may not be accurate.
