crzcar reacted to Vasilis in X-T2 card problem
I had several times  the same card problem with the X-T2 : i use the Lexar 2000x 64gb on the first slot for RAW and 4K videos and a Lexar 1000x 64GB on the second one for jpegs .When the first card gets full ,the message 'memory card full' appears .I switch to the second slot ,which still has plenty of space, but the problem it's there. I change the 'save data setup', shoot only raw,i remove the full memory card ,i switch the empty to the 1st slot ,still i can't shot. The problem is being solved only if i carry a 3rd card and place it to the first slot. Is there any solution or a specific setup to avoid this situation?

I would like to have the AF point auto rotate as you rotate the camera between landscape and portrait.
Also able to add "Switch Slot Sequential" in my menu or in Q menu.
Make Q button as a customizable Fn button so that can be as AF-On.

Thanks for your apply, I tried both RAW and JPEG, the results are the same. As the lens correction you mentioned, I don't find this setting in the camera :0
I only have this one lens, so now I'm not sure whether it is because of the camera body or the lens.

can the video light be used together with the flash?
maybe as AF assist or just as catch light?

I am confused by which flash to get too. The Fuji x500 is far too expensive for me and as far as I can tell there are no other cheaper alternatives that don't have firmware issues or feature restrictions... the nissins i40 and i60 have limitations that seem to mean no hss and the latest info I have found on the mecablitz m400 Seems contradictory, with some saying it does support hss on Fuji and others that say it does not.

I can't find any recent bloggs/posts or YouTube vids that help explain or show these flashes in detail for the x-t2...

Recently brushed the dust of the EF-42 put a new set of quality batteries and embraced the job of the day.  7 people mostly young dressed in formal decorative degree presentation dress(Thai style). Bright sun as normal so I knew I needed fill in flash, 260 photos later a great set of pictures. XT2 with 16-55 f2.8 lens.  Back home time to review the results only 2 frames lost to camera shake zero to out of focus. RAF files hit the bin horrible. I do like sharp and the 16-55 lens delivers with very fast focus. The only editing of the photos was cropping and a touch of colour temp on some.  A3 prints from my Epson L1800 were great even without using the high quality setting in the print menu.

Back to the subject EF-42, there was inconsistency with the degree of fill in, mainly under fill not over fill in.  It did work well in manual mode when used with 2 Nikon SB flash units all controlled by the Cactus controller.  Comparing my last experiences with the Nikon D3 and SB800 flash the EF-42 was not ideal for anything other than having a low cost handy flash in the bag.  To buy the new super duper Fuji flash, don't know a matter of priorities I am very interested to see the new Maco lens. I did have the Fuji 60mm macro lens but I was not pleased with it probably because I was comparing it with the Nikon 105mm macro lens - what a fantastic lens a true benchmark for Fuji to match or even exceed.

Note: the macro lens was used with the X Pro1 then the XT-1 before any firmware updates, maybe relevant but  too late now cos I moved it on. (too hasty maybe).

I have X-T2 with Nissin i60A + TTL Nissin cord. It works perfect on any distance to subject. I set TTL on "A" and I don´t worry about the exposition. ISO Auto 200-1600, shutter speed A (or if I need 1/250). Optical trigger and HSS is not working. But with 1/500 you lose only 10% of bottom margin of image. With shutter speed 1/400 is full image.
I´m very satisfied with power, short recharge time and reflector heat resistance. If I have report shooting, I change every ca 50 shots batteries in flash because they are to hot. With two sets of batteries I can use the flash for 100 shots/hour. When are the batteries cold, I replace the hot in flash with the cold. With external power supply you can shoot without any problems. Reflector have no issue.

If you go with YN560, get the YN560-TX so you can control power from camera and use internal radio triggers rather than optical.  I use Nikon version, but it sounds like people have used both Canon and Nikon successfully.
