PeterG got a reaction from Francisco Evangelista in Problem with my X Pro2.
The setting reset occurred to me last night for the first time. I was trying to transfer images to the iPad using the Fuji Cam Remote App
but the App crashed during transfer and then the settings was factory default in the camera.
This may be a safeguard to ensure that the camera starts after a serious software crash?
Anyway, a wonderful piece of equipment   the flaws just give it character.

I had the same issue with x-Pro1 or x100, can't remember... anyway I figured out that it happened for me when I swapped the battery with the camera turned on and that the new battery was not fully charged.

PeterG got a reaction from GoodPhotos in Have Fuji ditched old x series Xe 1 and x pro 1 no sign of any updates???
Fuji can't maintain new firmware updates for all models forever, the cost of testing and quality control is huge compared to the cost of developing the piece of code that embodies the Classic Chrome feature. The X-Pro 1 was good when it first came out and now it's so much better.
A camera doesn't suddenly go bad because it lacks the latest bells & whistles.. it's all in the mind
Unless you just want JPG Classic Chrome straight out of the camera you can use the free Adobe DNG Profile Editor together with a color card to create a Classic Chrome Camera Profile to apply on the RAW files using Lightroom or Camera RAW in Photoshop.
I've made one for X-Pro 1 and X100s. The x100s one is almost spot on when I diff with the CC JPG,
but since I converted my X-Pro 1 to Infrared I haven't verified the accuracy of it.

    Quick thoughts/troubleshooting:
    1. It works!
    2. Make sure to turn on sync in Creative Cloud app (link for help on this on Adobe exchange site)
    3. CC app takes care of download and install into LR. Slick!
    4. Before connecting X-T1 to computer, go to Set-Up Menu 3, and change USB Mode to "Auto"

Some folks are complaining about the $29 price. I'm fine with it. A relatively small set of users need this functionality, so I'm willing to pay a bit for the engineering time/energy to make this feature available. The free firmware updates, which continually improve my X-T1 in everyday use (2 major updates in the 6 months I've had the camera) are where I'd prefer engineering effort focused.

Thanks +Fujifilm and Adobe Lightroom engineering teams for working together on this!

First. I'm just an amateur. I don't have much experience in portrait photography where I'm working with a model. It's just "fun" for me to take photos. So yes this is for me testing the 90mm F2 but don't make an opinion about the performance of the lens based on these photos. I've just registered myself for a portrait/streetphotography course to learn how to take decent photos.

I loved the lens and ordered me one ...

So I wrote Fuji this morning asking for answered, and this is what I got back:

Dear Karina,   Thank you for your interest. At this time, the product that you're looking for is currently in development. It will be released, but we do not have a release date as of yet.  We sincerely hope this information has been beneficial to you. If you should have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us in the future.   Thank you for choosing Fujifilm digital cameras.   Sincerely,   Robert M. Digital Camera Technical Support
Btw, Antonius, tethered shooting is basically connecting your camera to your computer with a USB cable, and as you are shooting, your images appear on the monitor. So for studio photography this is an essential tool for you and your clients to know if what you wanted to achieve has been accomplished. It just speeds up the process of adjusting, selecting and correcting immensely.
