  1. I was going to ask a general question about our Fuji's and heat - eg. leaving one in the car all the time. OK or not? I found my answer this morning when I retrieved my X100T from my black car after several days. The original Fuji battery was swollen so much I could hardly get it out. Live and learn.
  2. I want to attach an electrical remote (wired) shutter release to my X-Pro1. The one I have (Shoot) plugs in to the side of X100T and the X-T10. However the female plug in the X-Pro1 isn't the same as those other two. I cannot find any reference to exactly what that plug is. I've tried mini and macro and they don't fit. I realize I will need some converter/connector to pair my release to the camera but can find no references. Any ideas? On the other hand, will it work if I can get it connected? (I know a manual cable release is an option,)
  3. I got the largest screw in ND filter(s) I would use and got inexpensive step-up rings for the smaller diameter lenses.
  4. The combination of the shapeways adapter and the Nikon eyecup. Images attached, taken in a hurry.
  5. Thanks. My plan was to use it for some street photography. Using a wired remote will work.
  6. The "new" model does not block the eye sensor. My guess is that it sticks out abut 3/4" and only obscures about 1/4', in a half-moon shape, at the top of the LCD. No issues with the tilting screen if you pull it out from the bottom. I can do more accurate measurements if wanted and a picture as well. Too late to do that tonight.
  7. I've looked all around and cannot find out if burst mode can be used with the camera remote app on my phone. On the physical camera, it exposes for as long as you have the shutter button depressed. I have tried "holding" the shutter button on the phone app but only get one exposure in the camera. Not compatible or I'm missing something?
  8. Isn't T2 different from just T? They are usually listed as "T2 T mount"
  9. I was gifted a Samyang 500mm f8 lens but can't seem to find the T Mount that it requires to mount on my X-T10. I've googled everywhere and only saw one but it seemed so long that I worried about the lens-to-film plane distance I have seen discussed. Anyone out there have one or know where to get one?
  10. I had to actually mount the lens before I could update.
  11. I'm Richard, an attorney in San Mateo, California. ( I jokingly say that I'm a photographer and in my spare time I practice law.) I've been at this even since my teens when my dad gave me his old Leica IIIf and the instruction book. I eventually migrated to Nikons when I bought the new F2 in Hong Kong. "Brand loyalty" kept me "Nikoned out" for years until I saw the X100. It reminded me so much of that old Leica that I had. I haven't looked back. When I got the X100T I gave the X100 to my daughter who also gave up the Nikon. Then I got the X-T10 and have put all my Nikon stuff on eBay. Currently I'm awaiting the delivery of some additional lenses and hope - after I recover from the spinal surgery of May 4th - I can get out and about soon to get back to doing what I love (and that's not in the courtroom.)
