  1. Hi Warwick, Like you (and many), I'm a longtime LR user who still uses my standalone LR Version 5.7, so your comment intrigues me. This version will open the RAF files from my X100T, but not my the RAWs from my (new) XPro2. Are you saying that there is an unadvertised version beyond LR 5.7 that can open XPro2 RAWs? And what is its version #? Thanks very much!!
  2. If the original post author is happy with the in-camera ACROS jpeg, simply open it (once) and re-save it as a TIFF. No more 'lossy' issues to deal with. Spending hours trying to match a RAW file to the original jpeg is certainly a wasted effort, though I do recommend shooting RAW + JPEG, and archiving the RAW for future use. Spend the time you save, shooting more images!
  3. Great catch, thank you!! Just like the forum member just before me (above), I need to keep my Spring cleaning current as well. Old update DAT w/ same name was still on my Mac.
  4. OK, I've tried 3 times now to upgrade to the new XPro2 BODY firmware. Each has resulted in the error message "No firmware found in slot 1". I've reformatted the card each time, used another (new) card after the first attempted failure, downloaded the firmware fresh again each time using the FujiFilm link (after trashing the previous download), and I'm still getting the same error. This is not my first rodeo. Anyone else on a Mac having this issue?
  5. My X100T images finally convinced me to p.u. the new XPro-2 with several primes, as a smart downsizing move (from Canon DSLRs since 2005, and Nikon film SLRs for 30 years prior). I've kept my X100T as 2nd body (w/ both teleconverters = backup kit), allowing that and the 14, 35 f1.4, 56 & 90 w/ XPro-2 to fit into a tiny, lightweight (comparatively) shoulder bag. Image quality from both bodies is exceptional, and I'll never regret cutting those FF 25 lbs., while maintaining 'full-pro' capabilities. Having that X100T Leaf shutter is just icing on the cake.
