  1. The 110mm has so far had the least use of the 3 lenses, not because I don't like it, just because I haven't had the opportunity to give it a thorough test. From what I've seen, it seems to render very much like my Canon 85mm F1.2L although the Fuji locks on a lot more reliably, the Canon can be a bit hit and miss. I don't know if you saw this image, it's about the only one I can show (others were family shots), I may get the chance to use it some more over the next few days, when I do I'll put some feedback on Flickr: Platform flowers by Mark, on Flickr
  2. Hi Teemu, as you know I have the same combination (GFX + 63mm). No such issues with mine nor with 2 other GFX bodies I've used. If this fault doesn't correct itself quickly, and assuming you bought this new from a Fuji dealer, I would be returning it for a replacement ASAP. This would be accepted in the UK within the first 30 days, I assume there is a similar protection for the buyer in Finland? Hope you get it sorted, it really is an excellent camera. I've quite a few images from it on my Flickr now if you want to compare, including those taken with the 23mm and 110mm lenses which I got last week. Mark (2slo7)
  3. You need to ask the moderators of that group if they will accept digital medium format images. Since it says 'shot on film', I suspect they wont. There are several groups now which cater for Fuji GFX images on Flickr. Just search Flickr using GFX and you'll see. Most forums prefer images to be actually posted on the forum rather than links to external sites. Easy to do with Flickr, look to the bottom right across from the image where you'll see 5 icons. The 3rd one in line is 'share photo'. Click on it, copy the BB code for the large size ( usually 1024px longest side) and paste that into the reply to topic box on a thread where you want to post an image Edit: I see from your Flickr site that you already know about the dedicated GFX groups. Lovely portrait work by the way, something I don't do too much of but may do with the GFX.
  4. I started one on the other Fuji forum (am I allowed to mention that on here!) and seeing as how this forum hasn't got one yet, please post your GFX images on here. I'll start it off, I only have the 63mm lens for my GFX so far but hoping to add others when I can. I'm mainly a B & W shooter as you can see below: Light on the Dunes by Mark, on Flickr Calm before the storm by Mark, on Flickr Above the promenade by Mark, on Flickr

  7. Yeah, the differences between primes and zooms can be small and often only really noticeable in the outer edges of the shot at wide apertures. I was considering by the 10-24mm f4 zoom before getting the 16mm prime. In the end the faster aperture was the decider for me. I wont use it wide open very often but it's useful to have the option for either shallow DoF and/ or low light shooting when required.
  8. Thanks. If you click through the image to get to the large version you'll see the detail in the shadows is all visible, the small sizes that the forums limit to don't allow many images to be shown to their best advantage. I'd say the 16mm and the 23mm are about the same in terms of sharpness, i.e. spot on. Both excellent primes.
  9. Yesterday I bought the 16mm f1.4 R WR lens, this makes three lenses (16mm f1.4, 23mm f1.4 and 35mm f2) for my recently acquired X-Pro2 and is pretty much all I need. I like what I see from the 16mm straight away, it'll be getting a lot of use. Here are the first two images I took with it. 10. Bought my X-Pro2 with the 23mm f/1.4 and the 35mm f/2. Both excellent. Needed something wider so just ordered the 16mm f/1.4. Other FLs (teles) are already in my Canon bag so thats all I need. Whether or not its all I'll buy...
