Thanks for the tip. You were correct! The funny part is that he thought it was a joke and didn't try it until he got home today.

I have a friend on vacation in Utah at Zion and his X100T is taking pictures normally but when he turns the camera vertically the camera goes dark and the camera does not take a picture. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for your help.
