  1. Hi, where are the AF-C Custom settings shown here at the bottom of this page, can't find it in the menu :-( http://fujifilm-x.com/af/en/ I'm set to AF-C and wide/tracking focus but AF is just random, I'm sure it can do it. I'm on latest firmware.
  2. OK, I guess no one on here uses the flash... ... but if you do, for some reason known only to Fujifilm the camera cannot be in silent mode. However, I still can't figure out how to change the flash settings lol.
  3. Hi, can someone please tell me how to make the pop up flash work! I'm in aperture priority, shutter speed is 1/40th and the flash is up but no flash - what is wrong with it?!!!!
  4. Psychic function button so I can control it with the power of my mind! Failing that better AF - more points basically. Er,... can't think of much else really, small increase in pixels to 20MP but not that fussed. Move the card slot to the side so I don't have to remove my tripod QR, some weather sealing. I'm happy with it and glad I feel I have a camera and not an electronic gadget that needs constantly updating.
  5. Yes, the Samyang 12mm is next on my list. I used to have a Tokina 12-24 f4 with my Nikon and used it at 12mm most of the time and two stops extra is a big bonus with the sammy plus it's lighter weight. A tilt shift adapter sounds great but I would need a full frame 12mm to take advantage of it. Edit. I'm not really interested in working for high street real estate agents, I'm aiming for more a specialist market, as most bread and butter ones won't pay for photography.
  6. I assumed the RAW files are uncompressed as the the X-Pro2 now offers compressed RAW, but I'm guessing it's lossless compressed vs lossy compressed like Nikon's NEF's.
  7. Before this thread got hi-jacked the OP was asking about RAW processors. He's right LR 5.7.1 doesn't support X-T10 RAF's, as it came out just afterwards. Incidentally Photoshop CS6 does support it through ACR 9.1. I've never tried Irident, although I've heard good reports. I use RawTheapee as my default processor and can't rate it highly enough. It's very powerful and specifically supports X-trans sensors. It can be a bit intimidating at first but stick with it and you get great results - I find the fine detail rendering and tonal subtlety I get is way better than Adobe. I sometimes save as an unsharpend TIFF and then selectively sharpen in Photoshop. Another RAW processor I used with my Sony (before I saw the light!) was Capture One. It really made my Sony files pop but I wasn't as impressed with the results from my Fuji - your mileage may vary. You can download a trial of Capture One but it is quite processor intensive. Lasty Silkypix works well as a quick and dirty processor with full compatibility with Fuji's film simulations. I found it a bit clumsy but it has it's fans and it's endorsed by Fuji.
  8. I'm new to this camera but... I wouldn't mind the option of lossless RAW if Fuji could put it on their next update.
  9. Is anyone using this camera for real estate photography? Just wondered what their thoughts are on it for this purpose.
  10. I think the Samyang 85mm f1.4 is a great choice but pricier than others unless you can find one second hand. It will tune up your focusing skills!
  11. I used Capture One when I had my a6000 and I thought it was the best RAW converter for that camera but I'm not overly impressed with the results from my Fuji. It's also very processor intensive and their customer support is patchy. I would put it on a par with LightRoom as far as features such as local editing and cataloguing but would choose LightRoom over it. Silkypix is pretty quick but doesn't have as much fine control as others, it's more like RawTherapee (my favourite) designed for overall editing of single files but I must admit I haven't used it as much as the others yet.
  12. Best RAW processor I've used is RawTherapee, I find it gives great results regarding detail and tonality and it's free which amazes me. Sadly it doesn't have local editing tools so it's back into CS6 as a TIFF for that.
  13. Hi, after using Nikon for years I switched to Sony last year mainly to reduce size and weight. While this worked well I didn't realise how fiddly and annoying button pushing would be on a a6000 and how utterly soulless the experience would be. Sony's apathy to crop sensor lenses didn't help - just two E fit primes, the 35mm and 50mm unless you buy fullframe FE 'Zeiss' (Sony with Zeiss logo and price tag). It was while I was in a department store looking at laptops I came across the camera department and was immediately attracted to a graphite X-T1. As soon as I looked through the viewfinder I knew I was selling the Sony! Here was a camera that didn't feel like an electronic box, one with dials and aperture ring but smaller than the Nikon, similar in size to my first SLR the OM-1. The next day I part exchanged the Sony for a black X-T1 and loving it.
