  1. I'm seeing similar issues with my pocketwizard TT1/TT5s. I can't get it to sync without banding at 1/250th*. While they work flawlessly at 1/250th or higher on my D800. I've just started a thread on this issue here: http://www.fuji-x-forum.com/topic/2885-weird-behaviour-with-pocketwizards-x-pro2/ *the banding is very little but it IS there.
  2. Hi there, I've been testing my new X-Pro2 this week before I put it on active duty during real assignments and today I did a few flash tests. I must say that I was disappointed. The biggest problem is that I can't get it to properly sync at 1/250th of a second with my PocketWizard TT1 and TT5s. 1/250th still gives a small line of banding at the bottom of the image (very little though). 1/200th or lower is no issue. When I hook the X-Pro2 up to my elinchroms with a sync cable it reliably syncs at 1/250th (even 1/320th is somewhat usable). The first thing that comes mind is an issue with the pocket wizards. I put in some fresh batteries, and that helped a little bit (i was also getting black frames/misfires). The weird thing is that it works flawlessly with my D800 at 1/250th (and much higher with hypersync...). That makes my doubt that issue lies with the pocketwizards... . So, could this be some miscommunication between the pocket wizard and the Fuji? It almost seems as if the pocket wizard receives the signal a tad late from the camera. I was really hoping to use HyperSync with my Elinchrom lights just like I do with my Nikon D800 without issues (HyperSync with studio strobes , NOT high speed sync with speedlights). Any similar experiences?
  3. Hi there, New member from Belgium here. I'm a full time pro who got hooked on Fuji after buying an X100 a few years ago. Sold the X100 and got into an X-Pro1, this week a finally bought an X-Pro2. I initially wanted to use the X-Pro1 for most of my smaller jobs but it was always a bit lacking in terms of speed. I'm really hoping that the X-Pro2 can fulfill that role from now on. I still use my Nikon kit for the big commercial assignments though.
