dck22 got a reaction from teemcp in X pro2 back button focus?
If you set the focus mode switch to Manual, the AF-L button will do back button focus. If you leave it in S or C, BBF will not work.

dck22 reacted to merlin in Wednesday Kayaking
Our kayaking trip today took us about 9 miles upstream to Capulin Canyon, in Bandelier National Park. Water levels had dropped about a foot since last week, and mudflats and sandbars are beginning to appear, making navigation tricky in some areas, with strong currents in a number of places.
Due to muddy and slippery banks we were not able to land at Capulin, but went back down river to Cochiti Canyon for lunch and a short hike.
Sightings included Great Blue and Black-Crowned Night herons, Canada geese, turkey vultures, ravens, redtail hawks, a merganser and other ducks, and a beaver.
The stillness, solitude, and connections with nature are always deeply moving and inspiring.

I use several Peak Design products and couldn't be happier. The Peak Design Lite is my choice for my X-T2 and X-Pro2.

dck22 reacted to citral in Which 3 primes combo is your ideal setup?
18, 27, 35 would be my pick.
If I traded the 18-55 for 18 and 27 which I'm still debating with myself.
27 to pack it in a simple pouch everyday in my bag, for hiking and for street candids.
35 if I'm going out for more serious "work" but still want it very light.
All three for travel.

I begin to believe this is not an issue of only some people...

Some shots I did for the daughter of some folks whose house I sometimes use for shoots. She told me she fences, so I suggested doing something with that.
Both shots taken with the X100T and generic manual speedlights. The colour one is a 60x60cm softbox and a reflector for fill. The b&w one a MagMod MagSphere and a MagGrid for harsh, directional light.

Peak Design Slide Lite. I don't like single point connection straps. The camera tends to bounce when not held.

Peak Design. Much more practical than BR. I use the larger Slide for big lenses, and the Lite for everything else.

Another fan of Peak Design here.
I'm afraid my XT-2 looks a little strange with three dongles hanging from it, but truth is the Peak Design just works. Two dongles hanging from the top for when I am carrying a heavy lens like my 100-400 and then one more hanging from the bottom of the Vertical grip for when I just want to handhold. The straps just attach and unattach so easily it makes shooting so much easier.

You just have to drink it faster. The fun is taking it out of and putting it in the "holder."
