  1. That's devilishly clever, Kevin. Thanks a lot. I'll give it a try. I don't need to dive into menus often, but when I do, it's a pain.
  2. That is a very valuable piece of news. Thank you. Since my main use for the Q menu is to set a shutter delay, I can assign that to another button. Whew.
  3. Good point. It was a moment of optimism, soon dashed. I gave up after that. The 'none' option I found just inserts a 'none' in the Q menu itself, so just a null option, the point of which is not clear to me, but is of no use. I'm still struggling whenever I use that camera off a tripod -- and sometimes even on a tripod -- with hitting the Q when I'm going from landscape to portrait, etc. Sorry to hold out the glimmer of hope.
  4. Aha!. (Or duh.) Found the 'non' option for the Q button at the bottom of the list of button choices in the button menu. Thanks, mbc! You're welcome, mbc!
  5. My way of handling the X-H1 means that I often hit the Q button. It's placed the absolutely worse possible place for my hands. Is it possible to turn it off? Thanks.
