  1. Wow! That's gorgeous. It would be stupid to buy the X100F in brown when that particular camera doesn't offer anything I need. So why am I suddenly rethinking my position...?
  2. While I almost never carry a bag on my person, I really like my Billingham Hadley Pro to stow gear and keep in my vehicle when traveling. If I feel like doing some photography, I'll grab a camera, lens, and a spare battery. The rest stays behind. I may get the new Hadley Small Pro as a carry bag which has only just been released by Billingham and is, so far, hard to find for sale in the States as the US importer has not brought them in yet. However, I hear KOH Camera can get them for about $240 shipped.
  3. I briefly had one of the very costly Artist & Artisan silk rope straps and returned it within a couple days for the same reason. I have three Fuji cameras and all of them now use the included straps which I find comfortable and work well enough that I'm done looking at exotic straps (as cool looking as so many are).
  4. I recently bought and XE3 with the 23mm lens. I've owned an XP1 for a couple years now and and XT1 for a few months (both bought from BH when they were at their rock bottom close out pricing). I briefly owned an X100S but the seller sent me a gray market version (*that's* why it was cheap) but I returned it. The XE3, in spite of the lack of the cool OVF in the XP and X100 cameras, is just stupidly good. Looks great, shoots great, and with a $25 chicom L plate grip, is easy to use the larger lenses (at least my 55-200 and 10-24). I have little need to try another of the X100 cameras but they are great for a one trick pony (meaning non-interchangeable lenses) and are the best looking rangefinder styled camera Fuji makes IMO.
  5. I want to carry as little as possible. The Hadley Pro is more than large enough for me and I like its looks and design concept. For hiking, I'll tend to take a single camera and lens, very possibly a compact like my Lumix LX3. When hiking, I want to carry stuff to keep me safe and comfortable, not camera gear. I usually wear a Mountainsmith lumbar pack and carry a camera across my shoulder. For photo walkabouts in town and similar, the Hadley Pro is perfect.
  6. I had to send a used XT1 back to B&H due to condition but I liked it a lot otherwise. But I have a new XP1 body with a used 35 f/2 and 18-55 and am loving using them. Mostly a Nikon DSLR shooter but the XP1 is changing that. I will likely get an XT1 body when the start dropping in price like the XP1 did.
  7. I use B+W UV filters on most lenses out of habit. If they degrade my images, I can't tell.
  8. I didn't want to wait for summer or later so I picked up an XT-1 from BH for $1149 used with the 18-55 in 10 condition. I have it now rather than wait. But just to balance the equation, I picked up a new XP1 body at the same time for $500.
