  1. Yes, the GX8 has a mode for that: 4k burst Actually more useful than I initially thought. The new postfocus feature is also based on the 4k burst.
  2. I think the 16 is dramatically better between f1.4 and f.5. I can't seem to get anything useful out of the 10-24 in this range... Seriously, the f1.4 and f4 are "miles apart". Each has a certain use and as my old photography teacher was saying: why bother paying for an f1.4 lens if you are only ever going to use it at f8 to shoot your boring wheat fields and beaches? Personally, I am also undecided here. I have some use for the f1.4, but 16 is a little too wide for my taste. I'd very much prefer having an 18/1.4. On the other hand, I have some use for 10-24, but f4 downwards rather than f1.4. I guess: the 10-24 is a lens on my shopping list, while the 16/f1.4 is having a hard time against the 18/f2.
  3. I think that 18/f2 is quite useful and enjoyable for street and people, but not very useful for brick walls.
  4. There is a chance that people coming in from MFT have used the Panasonic 20/1.7. If so, the XC27 seems like the logical Fuji version of the MFT 20. Similar behaviour although AF probably is a bit faster on the Fuji than the Panasonic. I quite like aperture wheels which puts all XC lenses off the table for me. I decided to go for the 35/2 with the X-Pro2 - mainly because it's the newer design. It's a stop or so slower than the 35/1.4, but AF is significantly faster and quieter, it's a WR design and slightly smaller. It's also cheap enough to make transitioning to a new and faster (f stop) 33/35 lens "less challenging"... and we all seem quite convinced that there will be some kind of a 33/f1.0 or so
  5. Except it doesn't tell people that they need to hold the trashcan button for around 3s before the function kicks in. Otherwise pressing trashcan and then command wheel will just bring up a live view (just as the command wheel by itself would do) I was already cursing Fuji until I heard about the need to press the first button longer. (well, to be fair: I tend to be an early adopter and all other Fujis so far have had an issue or two that required an "extended vacation")
