  1. Neither. I barely have 2k clicks on my x t1 and another 3k on my x100s. I love both. No need to clutter up my bag with a third body.
  2. If you've shot MF in the past, you know that it is a different style of shooting than the highly portable and quick to use X series. MF made sense in film because a photo artist could produce huge prints without going to large format cameras. If you haven't used one, I'd suggest renting one at http://www.borrowlenses.com/product/Hasselblad-H4X-Medium-Format-Camera-with-80MP-IQ280-Digital-Back?source=auto-suggest to get a feel for how the camera handles. I personally like to use x t1 and x100s and upsize it in software.
  3. My name is Brian and I'm a Fujihollic. (Hello, Brian). One day I found all of my great Nikon gear was doing nothing but gathering dust. Why, I thought? I took my Think Tank Shapeshifter and weighed it - 44 lbs without the tripod. I looked in the mirror and said, "I'm too old for this s__t. I traded it all in, the D700, the holy trinity of zoom lens, my 85mm portrait, my nifty fifty, and all the filters etc. I bought a x t1 with a 18 to 55 kit lens and a 56mm. I already had an x100s. All of it into a new Billingham Hadley Pro. Perfect. I shoot flowers and landscapes for print most the time so i rarely share, no insult intended. I lurked for a few weeks then joined. Thank you all for what I've learned already and expect to learn in the future.
  4. The x100s is the only camera I've owned (I bought my first Minolta in 1966) that makes me smile every time I see it, touch it, use. I'll keep it as long as it works.
  5. I bought the 56mm r before the APD was available. Happy. Can't find a reason to upgrade.
  6. I have the same two cameras. I haven't seen any real differences. I shoot the t1 with the 56mm lens. What lens do you use?
