  1. I just bought a Mengs L-Bracket on Amazon Germany and mounted it two days ago.. The additional grip is nice, the arca swiss grooves fit my tripod and I can access all doors and slots. It was a bit tight to mount, but it looks like it's doing its job...
  2. It wasn't even flourescent lighting, but normal halogen lamps... what confused me is that the camera/app chooses different settings when you start with the App or with a button. I wasn't expecting this, so I thought it's something more serious. But thanks again for the help!

  4. Seems you are right, it's not visible with sunlight. But why does the camera choose different settings when I start via the App? And how can I change these? EDIT: Setting shutter speed to any manual value allows me to set the speed via the app (to values different from what the dial says, which confuses me). Setting the ISO to Auto via the App sets it automatically to the max of the Auto-Range, no automatic adjustment whatsoever. Setting it to a fixed value works. So: Setting everything (shutter speed, f-stop, iso and focus) you can actually use the WiFi triggered video, except that it is 720p despite the camera being set to 1080p. Adjusting the shutter speed to slower values (1/30) removed the flickering, which was banding as milandro pointed out. https://youtu.be/gLN0cig6bKQ So, I hope for some KaiZen time for the app (and the corresponding part of the firmware) ... Thanks for the help! Happy shooting!
  5. EDIT: Solved (root cause banding due to crappy App), see post #5, http://www.fuji-x-forum.com/topic/3290-x-pro-2-video-and-wifi-flickering-video/?do=findComment&comment=29803 Hi everybody I did some experiments with video today, as I did have some weird effects when I tried video the last time... It seems that Video works fine when you start it directly on the camera and the WiFi is turned off. When I started video via the Fuji App from a phone connected by WiFi (using it as a remote release), the video was exceptionally badly flickering (and half the size only, it seems to do full 1920x1080 without wifi, 1280x720 with wifi. Wifi on: https://youtu.be/ky0yDR2Cwxo Wifi off: https://youtu.be/vhB49Xyz5V0 Did you experience something like that? Anything to get the video working? Best regards Nils
  6. Hi Edit: not enough sleep plus slow lightroom does not help... My fault. Remaining question: is there some official bug report channel for Fuji? Observations after about 1 week of use: WiFi is really buggy, both with the Mobile App as well as the Copy to PC functionality. Everything else seems to be OK, did not try flash so far. Battery indicator is mostly OK, but falls off rapidly towards the end of the battery life (both with Fuji and with Pantona batteries).
