  1. I had an honour to be official photographer for FIBA at Eurobasket 2017 group A in Helsinki. Shot whole tournament with my Fujifilm X-T2 bodies with different lenses and has one backup Canon 5D MK III with 200mm F1,8 also with me (which didn't get too much work...). Unfortunately I didn't have my 90/2 with me as it fell from my bag couple of weeks before the tournament and I had to send it to get it repaired. There were many surprised photographers asking from me am I really shooting with Fujifilm. I was the only one who used anything besides Nikon and Canon, but as always Fujifilm didn't let me down!

  2. Great shots!

Can you give us some idea as to your film settings?  Just curious.  Keep up the great work!

    Thank you!

I use classic chrome mostly with sharpening +2, shadows +2 and highlights +1 for greater contrast. Color is 0. Black and white ones are taken with acros with red filter and highlights, shadows and sharpening settings at the same value.

  3. Hi fellow Fuji shooters!

I have been covering FIBA Basketball U18 European Championship Division B in Tallinn for FIBA Europe and as on Tuesday I received my new Godox AD200 flashes and Godox X1T-F transmitter, I have been trying them out on court! I have to say that at first it took some time to get used to new system as I haven't used flashes too much with Fuji before, but when I got the grip of it, it works well. HSS doesn't lose too much power with AD200 strobes, which is surprising and that way it works great for sports! The only issue I have found is that about every 6-7 shot I take the flash syncs too early or too late so I miss the shot. I don't know if there is something with my shutter speed (1/1000 - 1/2000s) or the venues. I hope to get more experience with the new system in different setups in upcoming weeks and hope to keep you also up to date with my findings! At least after to days of using the system I'm more than satisfied!

Some shots taken with both X-T2 and X-T1:

All shots are edited JPEGs from cameras.

  4. Haven't posted in a while. Tested Fujis 100-400 in a game of football between Estonia and Belgium. Stadium was quite badly lit, so at F5,6 had to push ISO to 8000. Shot in JPEG. The lens is superb, but for those badly lit situations I'd like to get longer fixed lens from Fuji!

  5. I have quite a good eye spotting criminals (I have been working as a press photographer for over 7 years and encountered too many of them) and that guy waiting there with his tennis ball was one of them. I can assure you that. Ok, mafioso might be a bit exaggerated, but he wasn't just a regular pal either :)

  6. Today I woke up early and went to one of my favourite bogs in Estonia to shoot sunset. Some examples here:
