This seems to work. I have two Lexar cards and the intermittent freezing began about a month after getting the marvelous XT-2. I downloaded the free SDFormatter in the above-quoted link and ran both cards through it. (It takes quite awhile to perform this if the "erase" option is chosen.) Popped the cards back in (I did not format them within the XT-2) and everything seems to working fine--at least for now! I'm sure a firmware update will fix this. What a camera!
