  1. The shepherd had needed only one lamb shank.
  2. Love the Ford Capri and Ford Escort. When I was a young guy I've owned a Ford Escort RS2000 powered by a Cosworth engine. That was real stuff... Nowadays there's another thing in motor sport that attracts me much more...
  3. One of the most magic places of the world.
  4. Definitely large enough for sea scape.
  5. Otago Southlands - where my heart belongs to.
  6. Moonrise over Tunnel-Beach
  7. Click on the image button (the green rectangle) at the top of the edit window and a dialog box will appear in which you can enter the URL of your picture (must be a link to a jpeg)
  8. For those of you who want to have their X-T1 captured images imported directly into Capture One There's a guy named Michael (all credits to him) who developed a small program which copies captured imaged directly into a selectable folder. To get the program follow this link. The problem is that this program is available for windows only. Now I've successfully installed it on my MacBook Pro: - Mac OS X 10.9.4 - Parallels Desktop 10 - Windows 10 Preview (any other Windows Version should work as well) - XT1Move V0.9.1 (This is the software from Michael) - X-T1 Firmware 3.0 - 3m USB-Kabel - Capture One 8.1.1 Mac-Version It simply works:-) - XT1Move Software installed in the virtual Windows engine - Defined a target directory for captures by launching XT1 (This directory can be acccessed by Windows and OS X) - Imported the target directory into a C1-catalog once - Set the directory as Hot-Folder (see C1 documentation) - Shoot and you will have imported the captured image in a second. The only caveat is that this is no real tethering so you have no live view and you have to operate the camera to shoot. But for me this works very well.
  9. The solution I am talking about has nothing to do with the Fuji-Software. Unfortunalely that service is running under MS-Windows only. I had to install Parallels on my MacBook to run the Tether-Service on a virtual MS-Windows machine.
  10. Where the sea is the main subject Nugget Point (Catlins, NZ)
  11. Mehrdad, you know that I really love Cape Town and this picture. But is this landscape? It would be a good idea to start a seascape thread...
  12. I've still exceeded my like quota so accept my clap on your shoulder this way. Never been in Russia but I assume that a ride on the Transsib would be worth a dedicated thread.
  13. I totally agree. The problem is that travelling has become such an annoying thing. Sometimes I'd rather be an albatros...
  14. Dunedin (NZ) - the most Scottish town outside Scotland - in the evening light

I'm always overwhelmed by the broad diversity of European poeple. That's exactly from what Europe is made from - not from the currency.
  16. A very moody picture, which actually doesn't need that strong vignetting.
  17. This is because Street is the thread with the most controversial and mostly off-topic discussions. So it's a good idea to remind everyone that the thread is dedicated to photography but not to trollism.
  18. My tethering issue has been resolved: A guy from the German Fuji-X-Forum has developed a small background service program which transfers the files coming from the X-T1 via USB into a directory of your choice. In Capture One you can use that directory as a hot-folder so every picture will be imported into Capture One at once. This works with Capture Pilot as well so you can present the pictures on a iPad as well.
