  1. Late to the party, but my top 4 lenses would probably be... 14mm f/2.8 - I love this for epic dance shots. 23mm f/1.4 35mm f/2 - Tiny lens lets me sneak in shots 56mm f/1.2 - AF is a little slower than I'd like in dark situations, but it's a stellar lens. I'd love a 50-140 though.
  2. I really dig Pro Neg Std as well, but I run +1 or +2 in the shadows for a little extra contrast. Classic Chrome on the X-Trans II sensors looks good as well.
  3. I'm pretty sure X-Trans I and II will work with LR 5.6. I recently procured the X-Pro2 and had to move up to LR 6, which supports both uncompressed and lossless compressed. In summary, LR will work fine with X-Trans files, but I was never that happy with the way LR rendered them. The LR Classic Chrome profile was not close at all to Fuji's, and I just didn't like the way the files looked very much. Thomas Fitzgerald's sharpening presets were very handy, but on balance I think Capture One Pro 9 does a much better job than LR.
  4. An XF33mm f/1.0 is definitely something I'd be interested in. I lean heavily on my 35mm lenses (both f/1.4 and f/2) for wedding work, and if the 33mm f/1 were to be released I'd probably sell the f/1.4 and jump on the 33mm. Hope this happens!!

  10. Hey folks, I just posted a blog from a recent experience in St. Joseph, MI. You can read it here. Here are some images from my post, all taken with the X-Pro2 and 35mm f/2 WR, using Acros+G and Pro Neg simulations in LR6. I was really thankful for the water-resistance of this combination, since it allowed me to run into the fountain and take pictures of kids splashing around without worry.
  11. I'm an X-T1 and X100T user who just switched to CaptureOne Pro 9. The software handles X-Trans RAW files beautifully. I've also just picked up an X-Pro2 - C1 doesn't support X-Pro2 files yet, but I've expressed multiple times to PhaseOne that I would like to see support for both uncompressed and lossless compressed X-Pro2 files.
