  1. In the Power Management menu, you can define Auto Power Off as 2 minutes or 5 minutes, like you said. There is also a third option to set Auto Power Off to "OFF". This means it will not turn off automatically.
  2. I obtained a second copy of the 52mm filter used for the Fujinon 35mm f1.4. The reflected light is not purple like the first copy, but rather yellow. See attached photo. Strange. I wonder why the color of reflected light differs when all these Fuji filters should have the same Super EBC coating.
  3. Vladimir, thanks for checking your filters and posting the photo. I'm now adding the filter for the Fujinon 35mm f2 lens (PRF-43) which reflects blueish, very similar to the 62mm filter (PRF-62). See attached photo.
  4. I have an X100S and X-Pro2. I observed the blue cast you described in the EVF on both cameras. I haven't used an X-T1 before, so the blue cast seemed normal to me. I did not know the EVF on the X-T1 was color accurate! This slightly bothers me now. On the X-Pro2, it is especially noticeable when you toggle between OVF and EVF. Furthermore, if you're using OVF and add the little EVF focus preview box (ERF dual display), you get a side-by-side comparison of how much bluer the colors in the focus preview box are. Please keep us informed when Fujifilm gets back to you.
  5. I have an X-Pro2 and X100S. Compared to the X100S, the X-Pro2 gets much warmer, especially on the bottom plate and the screen. I was initially worried about this and acquired another new X-Pro2 for comparison. I ran an informal test by leaving both X-Pro2 units on for an hour with the screen running. Both X-Pro2s got similarly warm. They were not hot or overheating, but noticeably warm. I also did this test comparing aftermarket Wasabi batteries with the OEM and saw negligible difference. Another X-Pro2 user also told me his camera gets warm. So, the warming seems to be normal or at least common. To be fair, I don't notice it much while out shooting, but I usually have the leather half case on. Let me know if anyone here has more information to add. Hopefully this isn't a problem.
  6. Question for anyone who owns a Fuji protector filter for their lens. I have the PRF-52 for my 35mm f1.4 lens and the PRF-62 for my 23mm f1.4. I noticed the light reflecting off the front of the filter glass is different between the two filters even though they should have the same coating. The light reflecting off the front of the PRF-52 is PURPLE while the light reflecting off the PRF-62 is BLUE. The attached photo illustrates this using an LED strip as the light source. (The filters are mounted to the lenses in the photo, so ignore the extra reflections from the lens elements.) Can owners of Fuji filters tell me if they see the same colors reflected off their filters? Both filters use Fuji's Super Electron Beam Coating (EBC), so I was expecting the same color in light reflection. I wonder if it's possible one filter is fake. However, all the packaging looks legitimate, and I have yet to notice any striking differences in optical performance. Thanks for any input from you folks. For those interested, here's a link to Fuji's product page for the filters: http://www.fujifilm.com/products/digital_cameras/accessories/lens/
  7. I can confirm that the Brotect screen protector for the X-Pro2 fits perfect and looks great. In fact, its dimensions match up exactly with X-Pro2 LCD screen, so you need to line up the corners exactly. It is invisible after installation. Thanks Atrus for the initial suggestion. Some comments here suggested the screen protector for the Canon 650D would work also due to similar screen dimensions. I decided against this route because the corners of the Canon 650D screen are more rounded, whereas the X-Pro2 screen has sharper (nearly non-rounded) corners. In conclusion, the Brotect screen protector gets a thumbs up from me. Invisible after installation. Just be careful not to get any dust under it during application.
  8. Alf, would you mind posting photos from several views (e.g. front, back, bottom) when convenient? I'm considering purchasing the case. Would love to look at real photos besides the stock photos from B&H. Thanks so much.
  9. Thanks Atrus. Just ordered. Will report back regarding fit and quality when I receive it.
  10. Does anyone know of a screen protector sized properly for the X-Pro2? I pre-ordered and would like to have screen protection when it arrives. I saw a few on Amazon with no ratings. They are brands I'm not familiar with, so I don't trust them. I have one made by Expert Shield on my X100S that is great. Alternatively, do any of the other Fuji cameras with 3" screens have the same dimensions as the X-Pro2 screen? That would let us use the same screen protector. I already checked that the X-Pro1 screen dimensions are different from the X-Pro2. Even though they both have 3" diagonals, the X-Pro2 has a slightly wider aspect ratio. I did this unscientifically. Just found an image of the X-Pro1 and X-Pro2 side by side and dragged a rectangle across the screen perimeters for comparison. The X-T1 also has a 3" screen, but it's designed differently due to the tilting action. I wonder if they have the same dimensions. Also checked the specifications in the manuals, but they only provide the diagonal dimension. No data on height and width. I know it's early but perhaps someone has information on this. I'm sure you folks who pre-ordered an X-Pro2 will want this soon. They started shipping! -Vincent
