  1. I think this might be the reason you are seeing these numbers. The 19m48s is the total amount of card memory availability to shoot video depending on which video setting you have chosen. Your 19m48s would probably show an increase if you chose lower video quality. The 10m you are seeing is the amount of time Fuji has limited 4k video recording in camera. I've read that this might be do to heating dissipation concerns from Fuji, but I've also come across information that these low video times in camera are also because of the way cameras and video cameras are taxed and certified in certain countries. The 30s is probably due to the fact that your video card is not fast enough to write the 4k video without starting to buffer. So, the camera shoots for 30s, stops recording due to buffer, then you start to record again with a new 10m available to record video.
  2. Hi Pringles, I was in the same situation as you a couple of years ago. I would take pictures with my cell phone or a Canon G9, but I always felt limited. Limited, not so much with the quality of the photos with the cameras, but limited with my knowledge of how to take great pictures. I wanted something fully manual which would allow me to make mistakes and force me to learn. For me, the Fuji fits that bill. All the dials are there, and I don't have to hunt on the screen and dive into a menu to change a setting. I settled on the Fuji XT10, but a year later bought the XT2. If you can afford the XT2, I say go for it. The picture quality is fantastic, and the lens selection is vast. Of all the lenses that I have, I find myself using the 23mm, (35mm equivalent) for almost all of my street, landscape and architectural photography. The 23 is good for people, but may create an unflattering perspective of your subject when used close which is why the 56mm and 90mm are so good for portrait work. I bought the 18-55 kit with the XT10 and I think I've used it once. I just wasn't as impressed with that lens compared to my primes. Fuji is running a good sale now on all of their products. If you are in NY, it would definetely be to your advantage to check out B&H or Adorama.
  3. Thanks for the idea. I gave that a try and unfortunately that didn't work.
  4. Just double checked, doesn't trigger the shutter in bulb mode.
  5. Hi all, I'm a new member here, and sorry if my first post is with a question for help, but I'd appreciate any insight with this. The shutter on my camera will not take a picture with Triggertrap. The camera is getting some sort of signal from my phone- the camera's on-screen menu will flash briefly as if the next step would be the shutter moving- but the shutter never closes. I have the X-T10 and just bought Triggertrap's MD3-R9 kit for Fuji. ( This kit uses a usb connector instead of the the mic connector.) All of my camera settings are in manual, and my Fn buttons are set as Rico had recommended in his book '115 X-pert tips'. The volume control on my phone is set to max. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Is there some setting that I have enabled that is preventing the signal from firing the shutter? Thank you for your help.
  6. Hello Everyone. I'm a previous Canon G10 user, but I wanted expanded my knowledge base using interchangeable lenses. I have the Fuji X-T10, along with the 16, 27, 35, 56, and the 18-55.
