Ah but you forget frod, not all have the same conditions in weather. I'd like to trade for 3-6 months your grey & wet weather if you take my winter sunny and warm (90°F+) weather from Southern California. But since we can't, how bout we trade pictures instead? Alf, I know we exchanged a few post in your India thread and it was nice. Stick around and I'll be posting some pictures when I come back from Japan. Who knows, the pictures might entice you to go

Although I don't believe I'll be getting this lens, I'm really happy Fuji is listening to those who would love to have a smaller 23mm lens.

Nope, my wife would be angry if I got to go and she didn't. Well I can't really rough it either, since I do have a 4 going on 5 year old. That's rough enough for me. But she's handled the trip to Hawaii and Wales ok. We are better prepared this time for the trip. As for Venice, I don't really care for it much, mostly because of so many tourists. But it's not that long of a drive from south of Munich, and we'll be with friends, so that's really why we'll be going. I rather go to small little country towns in Italy. We'll probably be going around October of next year, not sure how busy that time of year will be there.

33mm f1 will be crazy, and I want it! (even a 1.2 would be cool, make it WR). But a WA f1, nope! It will dwarf any body, even with a battery grip. I'd still be in disbelief if the rumors of the 200mm f2 would come true.

Well, as much as I'd love to go every year, the wife wont let me . So this year we are going to Japan, in about a month and a half. Next year will be Germany, Austria & Italy (Venice to be exact). But I told her that's it! After that it's back to India. That will teach her! LOL

I hope to go again in 2018. My plan is to stay with friends for 3-4 weeks.

I currently have the 16mm 1.4 & 35mm 1.4 Wish list as follows: 90mm f2 (which I hope happens on the 15th of this month) 120mm f2.8 (maybe later in the year) Maybe the 56mm 1.2. I need to see if I'll need it after I purchase the 90mm, maybe I'll rent it first.

What's this winter you speak of? It will be a nice and a pleasant 90°F day today (Southern California).

X-T1 till the X-T2 comes out. In the mean time 90mm f2 here I come!
