PaulGuy got a reaction from neamtudorin in X-70 reviews here!
This little beast is killing me. I want one!!
But how many Fuji's can one man have?

PaulGuy reacted to Tom H. in Fuji Porn - What's in your bag?
So many options to build a bag, this would be my generic natural light portrait shoot bag. I bring an old roller suitcase for my tripod, flash gear and other accessories if I need artifical light.
Digital
Fujifilm X-T1
Fujifilm X100T
Fujinon 16/1.4
Fujinon 56/1.2 APD
Film
Hasselblad 503CW
Mamiya 6
Zeiss 120/4
Mamiya 75/3.5
Spare film and a spare back for the Hasselblad. Spare batteries and memory cards, a lens pen, a microfiber cloth, a lightmeter.

PaulGuy reacted to andrewlee in Lusting over X100T.. save me from my GAS.. or don't?
I finally got it! I LOVE it!
I think I'll do something similar to you JLing.
Take the X100S everywhere, but when I have a bag, take the XT1 with 35mm and 12mm.
OVF with the framelines and mini EVF in the corner is such a fun way to shoot. I'm addicted.

PaulGuy reacted to EduFierro in Arrival of XP2
Hello.
I put the order a few weeks ago, I have a ver bad case of anxiousness... I bought the camera separate from the body, and now they offered in Amazon US with a $99 minus. I just chat with them and they approve the discount.
so, Scored.
SO EXCITED.
Sorry I will post photos from the camera.

I'd like to ask that people not flood the group with pleas for us not to do things they don't like.
Doh! I just did it myself!

PaulGuy reacted to Paul Crespel in Limitations of the X-Pro1 compared to the newer cameras (Hardware and Firmware)
Hi John,
You have made a choice, a decision. What is the point of worrying about what advantages other choices that you could have made might have?
The X-Pro1 is still a super camera, and is capable of super photographs. The camera will be limited only by your capabilities, not by what advantages other models may offer.
Enjoy your X-Pro1. I recommend the Fuji 27mm pancake lens, or the Fuji 35mm lens. With either of those two lenses, if you don't get great shots, then it's down to you, not the camera
Have a look at the photos on my Facebook or Flickr pages. Many of them were taken with the X-Pro1. Flickr will even tell you which camera was used for each photo.
Asking what differences other cameras have after you have ordered the camera will only confuse you, and will be counterproductive to your creativity, because instead of making do with the choice you made, you'll always be thinking "what if?"
Go take some wonderful photos with your camera, when it arrives, and don't worry about other cameras for now.... the best camera in the world is the one you have in your hands when you need it

PaulGuy reacted to Alf in Have I gone Mad ???
Heres an interesting thing ......
I may well have lost the plot (quite possible)
Anyway here goes...
In the beginning there was the XP1 which after a bumpy start I ended up really liking , it had soul it was a camera that just felt right ...
Then enter the XT1 with all its bells and whistles and yes I was tempted by the new camera and ended up with 2 of them
They were fine and I used them with no problems but I did not love them
Compared to my XP1's they were ugly and just had no soul
Yep I know I'm mad but to me a camera needs to have something about it more than mega pixels and fancy focus , if the camera feels right a decent snapper will make great pics , I really do believe that
So....
Here we are at XP2 launch and I have had mine a few days
Yes it works fine
Yes its faster
But having it made me get my XP1's out of the cupboard and guess what .... It doesn't seem so slow
Granted its not very useful for super fast things but I don't snap super fast things
Then I started looking at image files from the XP1 days and I think some of my best Fuji era work was on those cameras !
Ive also printed those files to A1 with no problems (I'm never likely to go bigger )
So here I am with 2 XP1 bodies and an XP2 body , I am 2 days away from a job in Paris and I am seriously thinking do I dare go back to the old days !
I am seriously considering it and if I do ....... who wants to buy an XP2

PaulGuy got a reaction from dbspano in Travel to Italy: X100T or X-E2?
I went to Italy this past October. I took two cameras. An X100S and an X30.
Next time I would only take the the X100S.
my 2 cents, and worth every penny :-)
Have a great trip! Hope you and your wife get to Positano. One of the most beautiful and romantic places on earth. (Even if a bit touristy)
