    the trick is indeed to be patient for three seconds while pressing the delete button

    Got my second XPro2 (backup) body and had the same problem but eventually it worked out I pressed the command dial slightly angled, if pressed dead centre I was able to enter the format menu Thanks all !

    Even did a factory reset but did not work. Do you press it in a particular order or duration?

    According to the manual quick format of the SD card is performed by pressing delete and the rear command dial. Doesn't work with me. Anyone else same problem ?
