  1. 4 months into the fix. I wouldn't call that exactly fast resolution on critical for some cameras bug. However it is good that the issue is finally suppose to be fix. Make xPro2 great again!
  2. Update from me too, since 30 day period in service centre was due, I got a new replacement camera yesterday. Didn't had a chance to explore it, but at least for now it is ok. No feedback was provided on my original xPro2 - nothing!. The new camera has firmware 1.01 on it, so hopefully it is not from "the batch". I really doubt it is a software issue, however let's wait and see. In any case, it is a great camera and I missed it during the month. UPDATE: Had a shoot today, the issue was not observed at all.
  3. This is really strange, thank you for sharing it. Can someone check this workaround, since my camera is still in service center, waiting for replacement. I might use it for the new one, since with Pro2 it is always like with Kinder - Surprise.
  4. it is clear, that the issue is shutter related - it is sticky, or mechanically flowed, which brings the camera to a fatal error and request to restart it. I'm really pissed of Fuji to not acknowledge the problem - now my service center is simply sitting and waiting for "something to happen", since they don't know what to do with so new model. It is a freaking fact, and everyone is reporting that they are telling "you are the first one to report". Changing 3 bodies, like the user above is ridiculous. They are simply killing it, X-Pro2 will be remembered not with the revolution it brings to X series, but that is the most expensive mirrorless camera, with the most critical bug ever (shutter), that nobody properly addressed. All this fame that "Fuji cares for its users" is now totally killed.
  5. I'm in the same boat as you - mine is in service since last week Serial is 61M06***
  6. I was advised by Fuji to bring it to service (The turn off and on bug), will update when there is resolution.
  7. Confirmation from today attached, nothing is solved with this issue on 1.01! Cannot pin out specific condition - It happens with 1 card/slot, 2 cards/slots. Original and aftermarket batteries, several lenses.
  8. In two days, I found 8 x-pro2 owners with a critical shutter/lens_mount problem. As specified in below thread. Waiting for Fuji to see if it will be fixable via firmware. http://www.fuji-x-forum.com/topic/2417-x-pro2-initial-bug-report/page-5
  9. I'm getting the "Turn off/on issue" - have it with all lenses (50-140, 35 1.4, 56mm) -- took the camera last week. It will be really ugly if this is a hardware bug - comming from Nikon D750 and don't want to see Fuji fuck it like Nikon. It also overheats and battery is dying suddenly.
  10. Hi, Please get a few shots in very dark low lit area and advice on the focus.
