I have both and suggest that if you can afford to keep them both, you should do so. I thought about selling my Pen-F when I got the X100V since I mainly shoot with Fuji cameras, but the Pen-F is such a cool camera that I can't quite bring myself to part with it.

Would be so cool with a x-pro1 profile in the x-pro2. Imagine the speed of the x-pro2 with the look of the x-pro1. Drool!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. I think it's time to get my X100 and X-Pro1 out of the dry cab and give them some love.

yesterday I set up a new flickr account where I am going to share my street experiences. I welcome you to follow me if you wish.
 
This shot was taken in 2012 with the X-Pro1 and the XF35 1.4
Unfortunately the firmware was nowhere near as capable as it is today. The focus point should have been on the guy in the front but AF was just to slow back in the day.
Nonetheless I love this shot as it does represent what New York is about.

I like it! I have guitars that have had the "relic" treatment so I understand the appeal.

1. Clearly, you're an artist.
2. It's yours to do with what you will.
3. Cradling, polishing, preserving your camera is the expected, default behavior.
4. I think it's really cool—definitely unique.
 
I think the notion that dents and scratches are "earned" is amusing.

I have a soft spot for "well used" camera gears so after my X70 got it first "scratch"... Well now you know what happens next.

I am an enthusiast user with only 6 years of experience and mostly Nikon gear.
 
Have been shooting X-Pro 1 since May 2012, really like the skin tone rendering of Pro Neg, always use OOC JPEG.
 
Was wondering if I should upgrade to X-Pro 2 - mainly because my wife complains about the Fuji always taking too long to focus.
 
Been reading up on the reviews but still not clear how the JPEG engine / X-Trans of the new batch (XT1, XT10, XE2 and not XP2) compares to the old X-Pro 1? Can you approximate X-Pro 1 output by playing with the H/S settings? Has anybody seen a side-by-side review of photos of same subject done by both cameras?
 
I got myself the X100S back in the day but sold it after 3 months for the XF23mm as the photos had weird contrast..

Thanks! I will try Acros G. Yesterday I snapped some shots with Acros Std with +2 highlights and +2 shadows. Here's one:
 

Hopefully, there are less dumb people with an x Pro 2 than me!  Out today to gather images in the first spring day.  Bring camera to my eye, very dark view.  Switch to OVF, is not dark but all information is gone from view.  LED screen is black.  Because of silent shutter, pushing shutter does not show anything. Processing light blinking.  Start pushing buttons randomly.  Change three batteries. Still the same.  Cursed Fuji and planned my revenge.  As I came into my home, I remembered to remove my very polarized sunglasses.  Yes you guessed it.  The polarizing glasses should not be used with the xP2.  LOL

I can relate, as I'm also sentimental about my X100 Classic, my very first X-series camera. We went through difficult times together, and it may even be possible that it would still be my only X camera if my main duty wasn't to evaluate new gear that isn't on the market, yet.
 
So I'm split. The majority of my images is made using (usually faulty) pre-production gear with unfinished firmware, so there's always a craving to use mature and well-aged gear that has reached its end of life and will not change/improve anymore, like my X100 Classic. Maybe that's also why I bought myself three old Sigma Merrills. 

28mm eq is too wide. I would like a 50mm eq on X200.

Not over, in addition to. I'll be keeping the X100, X100T and X-Pro1, and am waiting for the X-Pro2. You can never have too many Fuji's! 
What I like about the X70 is the smaller size and the tilting touch screen. I'm looking forward to trying out that screen for shooting from the waist.

I don't think I've ever changed the focus point.  I just focus and recompose.  Been doing it ever since I started photography.  I really don't understand why people move the point around, when it is so easy to just recompose.  If I need to change the way my camera focuses, I change my mode, but I always have the point as small as possible and dead center.
