  2. The preview doesn’t show the actual exposure with the standard settings. Take a look at this thread for information about changing the preview setup:

  3. Hmm. Ok the one thing I didn't try was turning off IS. I'll try that. Thanks! To be honest I'm a little worried it's something with the lens or body. So many pics are coming out soft. I'll keep trying though and try all these things. Failing that I'll pop into the shop and see what they say.

  4. I too went the other way around. I took family pictures on iphone for a few years. Pics quality was quite disappointing. And the choice of lens ? None. It all depends on the kind of pics one wants to photograph. For street photography, the phone could be an advantage as the photographer could go unnoticed. But for portraits, studio work, wedding, landscape ... i'd stick with something like the X-T3, X-T4, Xpro3. For portraits, I am looking forward to seeing what the XF 50-140mm f/2.8 can give. I read and heard a lot of good things about it. No matter what, keep shooting.

  5. These are two very different cameras and if you’re equally value stills and video I wouldn’t recommend a GFX100(S) for that. We’ve had the GFX100 here for a couple of months and though it is great for stills, it is a bit cumbersome for video. The AF works fine in single mode, but in continuous mode when shooting video, it can hunt quite a bit depending the lens and it often looses focus with moving subjects. Next to that the processor in the GFX100(S) is still the same as in the X-T3 and 4 and with the pixel downsampling (from 100MP sensor to about 10MP for 4K) it struggles in processing power. Don’t get me wrong, the GFX can do video, but its certainly not designed for that like the A1.
