interesting story, maybe.......I took a photo on a pond that included this bird house that I assumed it was empty, I got home and looked at the photo and noticed something peeking out when I cropped in...............I went back and took some closeups with the 150-600. Surprised he put up with me being so close.
There are so many ways to set up the camera it could be any setting. I will reset it to factory and add my set up piece by piece and see where the firmware goes wrong. It does seem a few people have the exact same issue so pretty sure its a firmware bug.

I've not used it, but I have used their Publisher DTP software and it's very good.
