Fantastic thanks for the link! Now I need to start reading up on this great camera. Hope my backorder fills soon. Ordered the day after my dealer started taking orders so hopefully there are not 500,00 orders ahead of me! Also am a bit concerned that my US-based dealer will jack the price because of impending tariffs. IF yes, my backorder will be a distant memory because I will not pay a cent more than advertised when I placed my order. Emailed my vendor and they were ambiguous in their reply. I don't know their policy on price fluctuations for backordered products.

awesome stuff Jerry, I really appreciate the information! I may try to get a milky way shot on Assateague Island soon.......pretty dark there, at least for my neck of the woods.

Try user setting > screen setting > preview exp/wb in manual mode > off OR Change the Preview Pic Effect setting to off (spanner menu).
