IIRC, Kodachrome 64 was balanced for daytime light and if the recipe is attempting to faithfully reproduce K64, then the image colors will shift under different temps of light. You can modify the recipe and use Auto WB, if the recipe specifies WB, or make the change yourself in settings.
Analog shooters working in other than daylight, use filters in front of the lens to adjust the light's temp before hitting the film. That isn't recommended for digital photography, but we can adj WB in camera or in post.
