I believe this is a horned grebe in its winter phase.......never saw one of these before in Maryland or Delaware. Couldn't get a great photo, severely backlit.

  4. Hi everyone, I just wanted to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU for sharing this solution—it truly saved the day for me! I have an X-E4, and for a couple of years, my viewfinder sensor had been stuck. I’d tried cleaning it multiple times with no success. Finally, following the advice here, I decided to give it a shot by blowing on it (as hard as I could, using my mouth). I cleaned the sensor with alcohol both before and after blowing. I’m happy to report that it worked perfectly, and my viewfinder sensor is now functioning again! Thanks so much for sharing this fix—your help is greatly appreciated!

  5. I've never noticed that 'exp compensation when in M mode' option before - and it doesn't work for me either. When in M mode and you have a specific ISO setting then you get the Film Simulation using the dial - which sort of makes sense as you wouldn't want exposure compensation to work when you have set Shutter Speed, Aperture and ISO. But when in M mode and using auto ISO the dial doesn't seem to do anything - I was expecting it to adjust the ISO but it doesn't. Maybe someone else has found the answer.
