  11. Hi all, does anyone have experience with a K&F adapter and the Canon TSE lens? I understand i cannot set the aperture with the Fuji camera. Now: Some say a canon lens will default to open aperture. While K&F says, it will stop down fully, (which i can't imagine). Some say, set the aperture on a Canon body, then take the lens off (probably while holding the shut-aperture-button??). Can anyone tell if and how it works? Thanks! I mean, that TSE 17 mm is a wonderful piece of glass and all 😃

  15. Stupid guy of the day, that’s me! I packed all my gear (100-400, 2x teleconverter, 16mm/f1.4, Drone, batteries, tripod) and left my XT2 with the 18-135 on my coffee table at home. Realized this after boarding my ANA flight to Narita. We are staying in Ginza for 3 nights before heading to Nagano, Kyoto and Hakone. Where can I rent a body with 18-135 for the 12 day trip? I will be returning via Tokyo on a Saturday. How much will the rental cost? Or is it cheaper to buy, if yes, where can I get a deal? My wife and the other couple (another Fuji fan) accompanying us on this vacation are chuckling!😢
  16. I have 2 Godox TT350-F. I'd like to use one as a trigger only, without firing. Is that possible or does the master flash have to fire to be recognized by the slave? If anybody has done this, please share your settings.
  17. Fujifilm X-T30 vs Sony A6400 – Part 1 Gerald Undone has often critiqued Fujifilm quite hard and never recommended to buy Fujifilm, except for the Fujiflim X-T3. 21. After more than two-and-a-half months, we hiked off trail up to the rock cliffs in the Nature Preserve. It was a wondrous experience to be amongst the ancient trees, amazing rock formations, lichens, cacti, shrubs, and incredible vistas. We wound up taking a more strenuous and exhausting route, being on the lookout for photographic opportunities, and the stillness, solitude, and magnificence of Nature was deeply moving.

  23. That belief has been pretty thoroughly debunked over the years, but some people just won't let go. Yes, on a per-pixel basis, there will be less noise with larger pixels. But on a per-square-cm basis, the noise is the same. [It might have been true in ye olden dayes before microlenses became standard on sensors, because of the big gaps between pixels.] However, that is assuming that the entire sensor is always being read. If you're doing video and the camera is using line-skipping, then you won't have the in-between lines to help smooth out the noise. There's no real advantage to having more pixels than you're going to record, and that's often the case for video. Also, phase-detect AF cannot be averaged over multiple pixels, because it's specifically looking for differences between neighboring pixels. So you'll get better low-light PDAF performance with larger pixels, albeit with reduced precision.

  25. Hello, I've amassed a collection of snaps from by X-E3 that I would like to print. I'm getting slightly scuppered by frame sizes. They are in 3:2 ration - however does this mean that i will be able to fit into a frame of this ratio (e.g. 6inch by 9 inch) with no danger of the edges of the photo showing? Or, is there an art to either cropping it, or getting a slightly smaller frame? Secondly: Shooting with the X-E3, with 4000 x 6000 resolution - what's the largest I can reasonably expect to print to? My penchant is for landscapes, and viewing will generally be from 2+ metres away. Thank you Rob
