the only thing they did wrong was fail to monitize the  the x zooms  as well as hoped ... all the cameras were loved by all shooters wize enough to invest in one ,   the reviews were positive  .... even the first x10  orb issue was resolved by replacing  the sensor lens modules   no questions asked ... i would say it the best compact of its generation   despite sonys 1 inch sensor  with flimsy body  and shitty power zoom but greaat iq

when was the last time apple nikon or canon went that far ,  or any distance to correct something without denials or even pressed by  lawsuits?

ive owned the x10 x20 and 2 x30s   gave the x10 away to a friend shooter  lost an x 30   currently own an x20 and x 30

its the best built compact out here with great build   a solis lens assembly   great  and fast optics  a 58 sq mm sensor that punches way above its size

the r and d is there   to make another    theyve had 3 iterations of the x 100  ....so theres that

I have owned the X10 and was happy with it.

I bought it from a young man who had bought it and hardly ever used it, he did everything with the phone. Sold to another young man whose mother came to pick it up and she said she didn’t understand why her son bought a camera since he had a phone.

The problem of these camera was precisely that they don’t really have a large customer’s base. That is why Fuji is no longer investing in them.

  • 2 weeks later...

So the X-A10 appears to be the “ New” camera that was never rumored about before to be introduced in the latter part of 2016.

The reason why it wasn’t rumored was probably the fact that there would have been few prepared to listen. You know what they say: “ if a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"

After all this appears to be just a tuned sown version of the X-A3 which is likely to be as close as identical to what the X-A2 was.

16Mp and no touch screen, flip up LCD for the indispensable selfie shooters among us!

Wow! The world was holding its breath for such a camera. Of course, if anything, this will be a commercial success in Thailand ( Where the X-A1 and 2 sold well) and where people might be seeking a cheaper camera than the X-A3 ( which, over here in the NL costs in Kit a respectable €649).

This camera too will be probably sold with the 16-50 and maybe the 50-230.

I don’t think that there would be many sold in the Western part of the world because it will be, as Yogi Berra said, Deja Vu all over again!

Blue Jays are tricky to get good photos like you have, they tend to fly away as soon as the lens cap comes off 😀.
    • I own the Fuji X-T1 and X-H1. I own several Fuji lenses but I tend to use 3rd party vintage manual glass which I find quite enjoyable to use. I'm testing a photo here taken from my Flickr account that showcases the Tokina 100-300mm Zoom lens with 1.4 extender. • Forgot to mention another thing. Mine does not work if I plug the USB cord into a USB hub. It only works if I plug the cord into one of the USB ports on my computer itself (an iMac). This surprises me because I think there's a hub built into the computer itself, which is how the computer has multiple USB ports in the first place. I think it was somebody here that suggested I try that -- sorry I don't remember who!
    • On another forum someone suggested spraying some electrical contact cleaner into the wheel but the Fuji tech said that could risk frying the rest of the cameras electrical so I haven't tried that.
    • I have an x100VI with 1.01 firmware - did a reset already and didnt solve issue I am about to describe. Can you all see if your camera does this: Switch to C mode, step down to f16 and then press shutter half way. Does your screen go dark? I have tried playing will all settings (have had the following so quite familiar with the menus: x100, x100f, XT-2, X-Pro 2, XT-3) , only happens in C mode. If you find this can you report to Fuji @ digitalinfo@fujifilm.com. They told me they had not seen this before and that it was normal behavior because the shutter is closing, but the shutter closes in S mode as well.
