Athabasca Lens Filters

I can't speak of the Athabasca brand but I use and can highly recommend Tiffen ND and other filters. They are quite expensive but are made in the USA and I find their quality justifies their price. The 10X Variable ND is a great tool in my bag! I bought the 77mm version and then have step-down rings to use on my other lenses.

They are well known and popular in the NL, Almost all the shops carry the brand.

This is a review of their pro system ( in Dutch but maybe you don’t have a problem with it or you can use a translator)

Thanks Milandro. This review helps a lot. Google translate helped heaps.

It's good that the review didn't mention about bad color cast. I was trying to find out if it had any. The Hoya and Cokin Pro Z I'm using has some color cast I'm trying not to get into.

I'm looking at B+W and Athabasca.

Thanks Glospete. If you hadn't mention Tiffen, I'd forgotten about it. I use Tiffen cleaning fluid and cleaning tissue and they work great. If not mistaken they used to be Kodak?

Will definitely look at Tiffen too.
