I'd only want to show images that were taken with a PP camera that's close to the final product.

Again, my bad. I thought we were closer that this.

Cheers.

Err... Well from what I heard, it said Q2 or Q3 next year, so more like anything between 6 to 12 months.

It is like that 23 F2, still no official release date, it is expected to be early 2017 but nothing is set in stone yet.

I saw it behind closed glass panels but that's about it. There wasn't even a demo version on the show.

Or at least I am not high enough on the food chain to get on the back rooms of Fuji.

XF23F2 has shipped last week. People are already using it on vacation.

Really ?! At Photokina it was still marked with "Early 2017" tag on their displayed lenses.

This was a little tongue in cheek BTW. I'm mostly an "image" man, though there is some little "gear head" in us all  :)

Sorry for any offence.

Never mind, I'm kidding, but if we are talking about gfx images here you are another two from here - http://www.thephoblo...jifilm-gfx-50s/

attachicon.gifGFX_01.JPG

upper LCD reads F 4 0 and aperture set to 4

attachicon.gifGFX_02.JPG

upper LCD reads F 4 0 but aperture set to 7.1

so what F means?

It's an e-ink panel, so it stays on when the power is off. You're seeing the settings the camera had when the power was turned off.

She is a beauty!  A tad over my budget -- at least my business 2016 and 2017 budget...  Maybe I'll see one on KEH.com or Fleabay in the future.

I liked it very much.

What I tried was an early beta version, market launch will be in Feb/Mar 2017.

Heavy, but good handling.

Can't say anything about the viewfinder as it was early beta...

Interesting, because all the folks who handled it at Photokina commented on how light it is. It's all relative though. Might be light compared to a Hassy H-body or Phase One, but heavy compared to an X-T1/2
