The third and final part of my XF56 and XF50 review.

OK, so one of these lenses does something with DOF that the other can't, but what's the rest of the story?

Thank you, nice review.

The reason I sold my 50mm and bought the 56mm is because of the orange color cast of the 50mm. I just don’t like it and don’t want to spend time in post removing it. To me the 56mm is more neutral, just like the 23mm f1.4, and has in my opinion more of that elusive micro contrast. To me, the 50mm images just look cheaper - if that makes sense.

Totally. The F2 WR 23/35/50 prime lenses are indeed cheaper than the fast aperture, optically true versions, and if we care to look for it, we'll find it in the images

I've always had the same "strained relationship" with wide lenses and this article by Ken R. explained me why it is so ( http://www.kenrockwe...wide-lenses.htm ), and even when I was aware about what I did wrong I'm still really awkward in using them.

We're doing something a teeny bit different this week...

My throwaway snap and a guest writer with a thousand words.

It makes you think really... there's how you see your work and how others react to it.

Enjoy!

Quite possibly a week early... but predictably enough I'm sharing my 12 favourite X-Pro street shots from 2017

I've also written a brief description around each one

Enjoy, but more importantly (if applicable) enjoy your holiday season folks.

For the first article of 2018 I'm taking a look at my favourite features of the new X-Pro2 FW 4.00 update!

Trying something a little bit different this week (and next), after all it's not just the cameras we use and the pictures we take, it's what we do with those images too!

Facebook Vs Instagram Vs Flickr: Part One. So many places to place our images, but what are the pros and cons of the ones I (and most likely you) use?

Hopefully you've enjoyed the past three articles that have been quite opinion based and text filled?

But for this week (and next) I think it's time to get back to the pictures!

The X-Pro range are capable cameras, but if there's one thing I personally love to shoot with them, it's street

Following on (predictably enough) from last week's article featuring ten monochrome street shots, for this week let's take a look at ten colour shots

Excellent series Adam. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

I'm enjoing my X100F very much. I wish Fuji will improve AF in their medium format. I wish to see Fuji medium format in Xpro or X100 body style. Current GFX body style doesn't attract me much, plus AF is quite not ready.

Until then, my Sony A9 and fast primes still my main low light gig.
