XT10 Front & Rear Command Dials

Hi Everyone,

As a Canon to XT10 convert and subsequent newbie, I have a question regarding the customisation of the front and rear command dials:

I am aware that if you have a lens with an Aperture Ring (18-55mm), you cannot set either of the front or rear dials to change the Aperture or Shutterspeed

But, can you change the Aperture using the Aperture ring on the lens and at the same time set the front dial to change the shutter speed and the rear dial to change the ISO setting?

 

Any advice will be gratefully received.

you can change the aperture of the lens when in program mode.

 

For the rest this is not the first time this things have been spoken about if few threads, one way or other but yes, you can do what you describe.
