I was experimented with my Samyang 12mm.  It was a full moon and I do not live in a dark place, unfortunately.  I was able to get the Milky Way if you look close and I was amazed how bright it was outside with the full moon.  I was just practicing for later this month, when I will be in a dark spot to take better photos of the MW.  Quality isn't too great, had to really dummy it down to get to 1000kB.  😁

This was my first star trails experiment.  I had some lighting around that kept the foreground somewhat illuminated.  Same setup, XT5, Samyang 12mm wide open.  I need to get a suitable editing program so I can eliminate the airplane trails, lol.

Testing, ..., testing, ...

So far it works in the Firefox, Opera and surprising enough Safari browsers. This is a time-lapse sequence of the stars in and around the Scorpius constellation, in May. The stars are moving one way, the clouds are moving perpendicular against them. Nothing fancy.
